Sales Tax

Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest) does not charge any sales tax to orders originating and shipping outside the states of Florida or New Jersey. Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest) charges Florida sales tax and New Jersey sales tax to residents from those respective states that order merchandise on this Website based on the applicable state sales tax rates (commercial customers are exempt upon presentation of a tax exempt certificate). It is the responsibility of the customer to call (or contact via email) prior to placing any on-line order(s) if it deems that a sales tax or charge on the purchase is incorrect, whether it's an over-charge or under-charge. Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest) retains the right to cancel any order that has been charged incorrectly and placed by the customer prior to contacting Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest).

International

For all international orders accepted and approved by Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest), our responsibility for product damage and/or any liabilities or punitive damage sustained during shipment ends when either one of the following transpires: 1.) the Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest) shipment BOL is signed for by the domestic carrier picking up the order at one of our locations, or, 2.) the BOL is signed for by the shipping company or designated person at the agreed upon domestic location requested by the freight forwarder handling the order for a third party (formal inspection of the shipment may be required). In cases where Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest) arranges or coordinates an international shipment, then we will assist with liability claims. In certain situations where an International order is approved "Customs and import duties" may be applied to the order/shipment when it reaches its destination. Such charges are the responsibility of the recipient of the order or their agent/freight forwarder unless previously paid for as per itemized on Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest) Proforma Invoice; these charges typically vary from country to country. Also, let it be known that under no circumstance will Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest) be responsible for any costs, fees, paperwork, and the like, associated with an International or Domestic order unless a written and documented agreement stipulating fees, costs, and the likes have been approved by Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest) and/or its Divisions. Therefore, customers wishing to have our products shipped to International destinations and/or countries, as well as, National or International Territories, should seek professional guidance from their custom broker(s) and freight forwarder(s) in order to assess the total cost for their desired order prior to placing the order with Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest) or its Divisions, if applicable. Contact your local customs office/broker or freight forwarder for details. Shipping laws are different in each country. It is your responsibility to check with your Customs office to verify whether the country to which you are shipping permits the shipment of your products. Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest) is not responsible for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages that arise from improper international shipping practices.

Return Policy / Mattress Warranty / Order Cancellations

You may purchase merchandise from this Website using any of the payment options listed on the site. Full payment is always required when purchasing from this website. Although our payment procedures typically do not change, Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest) reserves the right to change its payment procedures at any time without prior notice to you. All SnugglyRest products and non-SnugglyRest products purchased from Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest) will be scheduled for production or shipment (if in stock) soon after the payment has been received and cleared. For orders not placed on this website you will be requested to pay, at least, one-half of the order invoice amount (including tax if applicable) in order to initiate an order; the balance will always be due prior to shipment unless previously agreed to by Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest) in writing. Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest) reserves the right to request a "Credit Authorization Form" either prior to, or proceeding , the placement of an order and receiving and accepting payment from its customers. This occurs frequently when a payment is made off-line to Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest). A government issued I.D. such as, drivers license, government agency ID, etc. is always also requested to verify identity and to prevent fraud. In addition, Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest) may request additional information at its discretion if it deems it necessary. Our invoices and/or estimates typically remind the customer of this procedure when it is required. Refusal to comply with this policy, especially after the customer has been notified via these terms and conditions, as well as via our estimates and/or invoices, emails, etc. can lead to order cancellation by Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest) at the customer's expense. Note that any order placed with Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest), and that is cancelled any time proceeding 2 business days from the placement date of the order will be subject to a cancellation fee of 10 to 20 % of the total invoice amount. This fee helps defray any handling charges, production delays, production costs, or other expenses that may have been incurred and associated with the order cancellation. Under no circumstance will more than 50% of the total order amount/payment due (total money owed for the entire order) be refunded to any customer if the order is cancelled after 5 business days from the placement date of the order or once the order has been partially filled/manufactured, scheduled for delivery, or completely filled/manufactured (fully ready for shipment), whichever comes first. Also, let it be known that any cancellation must be verbally communicated within 3 days from the order placement and formally communicated in writing via email (to beds@snugglyrest.com or mailed to Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest), within 5 days from the initial order placement. Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest however, follows good business practices and will always attempt to resolve any reasonable order dispute in an amicable fashion and within the law. SnugglyRest mattresses are protected by our 10 year warranty for manufacturing defects only (Promo Collections have a 3 year warrantee only). This warranty covers, only, manufacturing defects and does not cover damage that may occur due to usage of the mattress on bad or inappropriate foundations or platforms out in the field, or, to damage incurred during shipment by a non-SnugglyRest delivery carrier. Although Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest) prides itself on the quality of its products and mattresses, as well as, the quality control that all of the products and mattresses undergo during the manufacturing process, we realize that no company is perfect. Therefore, it is also the responsibility of the customer to inspect all mattresses, foundations, and other merchandise upon receipt of the shipment and note (write on delivery slip / BOL) any damage observed on the "Bill of Lading (BOL)" prior to signing off on any delivery. Shipments to customers via LTL, Federal Express, UPS, or any other carrier will always require a signature from the customer and proof of delivery. Any damage, including shipping damage, that is observed upon delivery, including any damage, be it shipping or otherwise, to any merchandise that was not seen at the time that the shipment was received, must be reported verbally to Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest), the shipping carrier(s), and the freight forwarder (if applicable), within 2 business days after the delivery date, and in writing within 5 business days after the delivery date to, Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest), the shipping carrier(s), and the freight forwarder (if applicable). If manufacturing or shipping damage is noticed on a mattress or other product upon inspection (within two days of delivery date, or as specified on any particular proposal), then it must be reported to us immediately and not sold or used, since this will void the warranty. Please also note that shipping fees for returns are not the responsibility of Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest). However, we will always do our best to find a resolution that is mutually beneficial should the merchandise returned be found to contain a manufacturing defect. In addition, in cases where Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest), may, at its discretion, replace mattresses and/or products/merchandise for an established existing customer, in good faith, prior to the customer sending back the product/merchandise deemed to contain manufacturing defects for inspection by Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest), it is the responsibility of the customer to return the product/merchandise back to Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest), in an expeditious time frame not to exceed 5 business days from the time the replacement product/merchandise are received by the customer. Any customer that does not return products/merchandise due back to Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest), under these perticular circumstances, will be deemed to be engaging in unethical activities and will be reported to authorities. Additionally, these customers will be held liable for losses incurred by Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest), due to these actions. Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA. SnugglyRest), follows good business practices and will always attempt to find a resolution that is mutually beneficial. Our goal is to maintain our customers happy; however, we also expect our customers to follow good business practices. Under no circumstance will Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest), be held responsible for honoring any manufacturer's warranty, replacement, or payment of any mattress or other product listed on this website, or payment of any damage or liability claims resulting from use or consequence of products listed on this website, especially if it involves liabilities or damage to any product or property resulting from misuse, negligence, or any other violation that voids the standard warranty of the product in question.

We will, at our discretion, also accept orders and ship outside the continental United States; at the present we will also service selected commercial customers in the Caribbean. SnugglyRest) and its divisions, if applicable, additionally reserve the right to cancel or refuse orders and service to certain locations within the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii, other countries, and national or international territories. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered from Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest) on this Website or ordered from Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest) via any other means pass to you, the customer and/or his/her associates and affiliations, when the merchandise is delivered to any non-SnugglyRest Beds owned shipping carrier, or as stipulated on our final quote / pro-forma invoice / etc.; however, Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest) will do everything possible, within its means, to assist customers with liability claims, at its discretion, arising from shipments coordinated and directly arranged by Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest). Under the normal situation where SnugglyRest is directly delivering your products using a SnugglyRest owned truck, then Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest) will directly file for shipping claims and arrange for replacement of the merchandise that was damaged. Although Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest) will do its very best to assist in resolving shipping related liabilities for our customers, Carpa Supply, Inc. (DBA SnugglyRest), in general, cannot be held liable for any damage or loss sustained during or after shipping once the merchandise is in transit or delivered to the shipping carrier, irregardless of who the shipping carrier is. It is also the responsibility of You the customer to inspect all merchandise upon receipt of the shipment and note (note in writing) any damage that is visible on the "Bill of Lading (BOL)", delivery receipt, or any other paperwork signed upon delivery prior to signing off on any delivery.
